This policy explains how Villa 4Eyes (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use this website or contact us. We are a small, family-run bed and breakfast at Kakulan Ovita, Thalpe North, Metaramba, Unawatuna 80600, Sri Lanka. You can reach us on +94 70 333 2468.
What we collect
- Details you send in our booking, contact or careers forms: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, travel dates, number of guests and anything you write in the message.
- Messages you send us on WhatsApp or by phone.
- Basic technical data that our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes to deliver the website securely, such as your IP address and browser type. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, check availability and arrange your stay.
- To send you a copy of your booking request by email.
- To consider your application if you contact us about work.
- To meet any legal obligations that apply to accommodation providers in Sri Lanka.
We rely on your consent (which you give when you submit a form) and on the steps needed to arrange a stay you have asked for.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. Form submissions pass through Cloudflare (website hosting) and our email delivery provider so that they reach us and you. If you book through Booking.com or another platform, that platform's own privacy policy also applies. We may share details with the authorities only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking details for as long as needed to manage your stay and any follow-up, and then delete them. Careers applications are kept for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. These rights reflect Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 and, for visitors from the UK and EU, the UK and EU GDPR. Contact us on +94 70 333 2468 (phone or WhatsApp) to make a request.
Third-party content
