Breakfast FAQs
Is breakfast included in the price?
Breakfast is included with the Booking.com rates for both rooms, for one or two guests. If you book directly with the hosts, confirm breakfast when they send your price. It is cooked fresh at the villa each morning rather than served from a buffet, so every plate is made for you.
What time is breakfast served?
There is no fixed breakfast slot. You agree a time with the hosts, who come in each morning to cook. Early start for the train to Galle, or a slow morning after a late night in Unawatuna? Just let them know the evening before and breakfast will be ready when you are.
Can you cater for dietary needs?
Yes. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free breakfasts are all available, as well as a full English breakfast and Asian dishes. Mention allergies or preferences in your booking request or on WhatsApp so the hosts can buy the right ingredients before you arrive.
Where is breakfast served?
Many guests eat on their own terrace or veranda, looking over the garden and the mangroves, or at the dining table in their room. With squirrels in the palms and birds on the river, breakfast outside is one of the favourite parts of a stay at Villa 4Eyes.
